Hi, I’m Alie!

I am married to my college sweetheart and have one baby boy.
I lived in one place until I turned 18 and joined the Army. In the past ten years, I’ve lived in 5 different homes.
I am the youngest of three girls and learn every day what it means to live with boys.
I dream of the day I can once again call a single place my home and plant strong, deep roots. Until then, I am determined to make the most of where we are.
I am a health nut, always focused on nutrition and movement. I love making sourdough and riding my bike.
I absolutely love creating things with my hands, whether it be a from-scratch meal or a fun embroidery project!
A FEW FUN FACTS:
As a kid, my family would make pizzas on Friday nights and eat pasta on Sundays. I am so passionate about my pizza on Fridays, my mom jokes I should write a cookbook just about pizza!
I summitted Mount Kilimanjaro with my husband at 10 weeks pregnant with our son.
I have never been able to stomach drinking coffee. That said, if I could have only one drink for the rest of my life it would be chai.
My husband and I have almost the same first name- we are only off by two letters!
I lived in Germany for three years. From that time, I have a deep love for daily outdoors movement, appreciate airing out a home, reminisce about riding bikes to the town market, and fully appreciating a complex recycle system focused on minimizing waste.
I can fly planes and helicopters! My dream is to live in one place long enough where it makes sense to put the garden in the ground, but to own a plane and fulfill my adventurous spirit.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR STOPPING BY!
